Don't waste your money on this book. The title is deceptive since it borrows its title from a previous best-seller by another author. A quick look at the Kindle edition reveals that this book is not much more convenient than a paperback book. It has no exercises, just a list of words with "artificial categories." Not a difficult book to write, very few interesting insights. You would be best advised to buy a kindle dictionary or better still, download a free dictionary and thesaurus app, then be on the lookout for words you don't understand and look them up as you read. This book should not be listed on Amazon! Or it should be sold for 20% of the listed price. If it weren't for wasting the time to request a refund, I'd do that...and this much says a lot about my opinion of the book. What one would expect (because this copycat book's original model had them) is multiple tests over each chapter with uses and contexts to reinforce words learned by asking questions about the words as they might be used in context.
Not many new words to be implemented into my personal lexicon. They were done in groups, i.e. biology.

Misleading. It basically just the words for different areas, it may be good fir students as they write on topics. It’s nit the latest terms.
It is a great book! I like how the narrator on the audio book sounds so great . I'll highly recommend this to anyone who wants to increase their vocabulary.
Very nice presentation to key words of a more refined vocabulary, with morning and night subconscious training. Very interesting.
This book was perfect for my needs. First, it is a relatively fast read, which is great because I can rarely finish books due to my busy schedule. But, this one was well-written, very interesting, short and to the point so I read it twice. Second, I learned a great deal of additional information on how a large vocabulary correlates to so many other factors in life---from happiness to career success to general well-being. The 30-day program was a great way to organize the material---I followed it to the letter, reading and reviewing those words that corresponded to the particular day I was working on. After 30 days, I did feel I had a good handle on all the new words, and then re-read it on a plane ride, just to reinforce it. I'd highly recommend this if you are interested in the topic, want something that you can fit into your schedule, and want to learn a ton of great new ideas.
